What will you do as Chef Werkplaats?
As a Workshop Chef, you are the linchpin between work preparation, planning and production. You manage the team, keep an overview and ensure that each project runs smoothly and according to plan.
Your tasks in a nutshell:
- Organizing, controlling and coordinating production in the workshop on a daily basis
- Monitoring the progress, quality and budget of production orders
- Identifying and resolving technical bottlenecks
- Maintaining the machinery, lifting equipment and tools
- Ensuring a safe and structured work environment
- Sparring with the director about planning, purchasing, work preparation and optimization
- Supervising, motivating and developing your team
- Administering activities and reporting progress
- Continuous improvement of processes and working methods
What do you bring?
- minimum MBO+ level, work and thinking level
- Accurate, organized, flexible and stress-resistant
- Proven experience/knowledge with assembling and welding heavy steel structures
- Mastering English and German
- Leadership skills: you motivate your team and keep a cool head, even when the going gets tough
- No 9 to 5 mentality
